Yes, climate comes on vacation to us too. We have joined the pact for chemical neutrality, called “turn to zero”. Zero emissions, for vacations with zero worries and a cleaner consciousness, clean like our air. 

We don’t only like to be called “eco hotel” - we really are.

We work to have our ecological footprint calculated and aim to become climate-neutral.

In the calculation different factors are considered, like  detergent waste from our laundries, the kilometres travelled by our service vehicles, the consumption of water and electricity, and the number of overnight stays and meals for our guests and employees. This allows us to know the amount of tonnes of CO2 generated by us and our guests.

 

The three-year plan towards climate neutrality aims to offset measures to support climate projects run by the Swiss non-profit organization 'myclimate', such as the supply of drinking water in Uganda, community reforestation in Nicaragua or the advancement of women's emancipation in Myanmar.
